This Syrah Grand Reserve was aged in 100% new French oak barrels which lends to the vanilla and caramel flavors on the palate.  You will notice moderate tannins with blueberry, blackberry, and a hint of mocha. Pairs well with grilled meats, vegetables, wild game, beef stew as well as aged hard cheeses such as Gouda.
